Theatre

At MVCA, theatre is more than a performance—it’s a way to tell God’s story through art. Every role, onstage or behind the scenes, contributes to something meaningful and beautiful for the Lord. Whether sewing costumes, running sound, or singing under the spotlight, each person plays a vital part in reflecting God’s love, truth, and grace. Inspired by Isaiah 60:1,“Arise, shine, for your light has come…”our goal is to shine His light through every moment we create.

Lower School Productions

Each year, students in grades K–5 have the opportunity to participate in a Christmas or Easter performance in Founders Hall! These special events not only teach students what it’s like to be on stage, but also remind them that their performances are an act of worship—honoring and glorifying Jesus through music and storytelling.

Middle School Production

Our middle school musical lights up the winter season and is open to all 6th–8th grade students. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to take the stage, build confidence, and be part of a fun, creative production!

High School Productions

We have two high school theatre productions each year—one in the fall and one in the spring—open to all students in grades 9–12. These productions offer students the opportunity to build lasting friendships while glorifying God through the performing arts.

Upper School Theatre Crew

Behind every great performance is an incredible crew making the magic happen. From stage management and tech (sound, lights, cues) to hair, makeup, costumes, and set changes, our theatre crew is the heartbeat of every production. Open to high school students who love hands-on, behind-the-scenes work, this team gains real-world experience in leadership, technical skills, and creative problem-solving.

Summer Drama Camps

Summer Drama Camps are offered to MVCA students entering grades 3-9 and provide a fantastic way to continuing exploring and developing their on-stage skills in a fun, Christ-centered environment.
